The Bosch 300 Series SHE53C85N takes about 155 minutes to run a normal cycle and does a very good job overall of removing stubborn messes, such as baked-on food. It has a sensor that monitors conditions during the cycle and automatically adjusts settings for more efficient cleaning. This dishwasher's drying is acceptable, but some moisture may remain, particularly on harder-to-dry plastic items. It runs fairly quietly, with little disruptive noise during the cycle. For ease of use, we value clear interfaces, flexible loading options, and convenient features, and this dishwasher does a solid job. It has a third rack, an adjustable upper rack, adjustable tines on the upper rack, and adjustable tines on the lower rack. It has a delay start feature in the app. It's operated using controls on the front of the door and can also be controlled wirelessly from a smartphone. Its energy efficiency is very good, costing about $77 per year to run.
